Further Analysis of WannaCry Ransomware and steps to take

for the past few days, i collectively gather few solutions for the time being though there is no way as of current to decrypt your files unless you pay up the ransom.

1. disable your smb protocol(note that by doing this, you may not be able to share files across Mac and Windows machines) as in the snapshot below:

2. perform a windows update to patch up your machine as below:

3. Download Malwarebytes, install and update to secure yourself from future exploits.
