rooting and unrooting android smartphones

By benbam

the one reason for unrooting smartphones is to recover data(files or pictures) lost or deleted by mistake.

after unrooting the smart device, you will not be able to do software update or google pay. to revert the pending action, you will need to unroot the device.

at such, unrooting android devices seem tricky as there are many apps or software, some require you to pay and some actually mess up your phone causing it to reboot in a loop, making your device unusable.

rooting software also need to be updated over time as android developers seem to develop new security mechanism, to secure and prevent users from rooting their devices easily.

step by step instructions to root a samsung S7 is provided in the link below:

the way out to unroot your device if other ways cause rebooting loop is to root your device again by following the steps in the above link and disallow access root permission on your phone. this will make the phone usable and unrooted again.

the above is my tested way of unrooting when all else failed. it works for me. i am able to update software after.
