swapping old hard drive to new computer

today, i did a swap of windows 10 ssd from hp envy to hp pavilion. no stress, no hassle, it works just fine.

previously, i spent a night trying to transfer system from old hard disk to new system using various system transfer softwares, it just wouldn’t work, and that’s for windows 7 by the way.

i guessed that windows 10 has new capability to enable swapping old hdd to new system in a breeze.

no reference links from google on this finding but you can try it at your own risk, remember to backup your data before doing anything.
